Its a...

GIRL!

we are so excited and happy to have a baby girl entering our family! everything is looking good. she is measuring normal and is healthy and growing. she put on a show for us and was moving all over the place. she... i love saying that! she, our daughter, sounds so much better than "it". we are having a girl!

one word.

happiness.

one trimester down

two more to go.

all i can say is i am so glad i am not an elephant. 9 months is long enough to be prego. i can't imagine 22 months! although, i am starting to feel like an elephant. i am not really showing or anything but i definitely feel fat or as kason says i am starting to "thicken". i can tell i am exiting the first trimester and entering the second. i am starting to get less sick and am starting to get my energy back. maybe i will start cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry again. i have been a total slacker lately. luckily i have an awesome husband who doesn't care if we eat frozen pizzas for dinner and will clean the whole apartment so when i come home friday after work everything is nice and clean.

life is good.

since my last post

a lot has happened. it has seriously flown by. 1st week of being hired = lots of boring meetings while trying not to puke on everyone. having my own classroom = awesome besides the fact that i am in a stinky portable in the far corner of campus. mean lady next door making me switch classrooms the day before school started just as i had everything set up and sat down to figure out what the heck i was going to teach my 200 students = stress and tears. yes i cried. in front of the assistant principal. stupid pregnncy hormones. mean lady getting in trouble for making me switch = priceless {ok so maybe i am the mean one but she totally deserved it.} mom, sisters, and husband who seriously saved my life by helping me get ready = amazing. having 40 plus kids in each class = crazy. trying to plan lessons for a course i have never taught before and being all organized and acting like i know what i am doing while this first trimester thing is sucking all of my energy = more craziness and exhaustion. being a real teacher and enjoying going to work despite all of the craziness = happiness.
