early mornings, awesome husband, and some sweet golfing

its been a week of student teaching. good thus far. mostly just observing introductions and all the boring beginning of the year stuff. one down side= a hour. i have forgotten how bad waking up for a hour is. waking up at 5:30 is just not for me. i know its not really that early, but i am so not a morning person. i am really dreading the days when 5:30 means its dark and cold and getting out of our warm bed. on the brighter side of things i don't have a fifth or a sixth hour so i get done early. still i am gone a lot and i kind of feel bad leaning kason home everyday. though i do love having someone to come home to. i better enjoy it now before his school starts. he has been so great doing things for me while i am gone. one day i came home and the house was totally clean. i love the smell of cleaning products as i walk in the door. knowing everything is disinfected makes me smile. i hate leaving to do lists for him and i love that i don't need to. another day kason decided to take me to the driving range. i have never golfed before and i really was terrible at first, but i really liked it. i even had some good shots and impressed the hubby. i think i liked it because i am not limited by my knees. if i stink at golf its just because i stink not because my physical body is limited. so i like golf. who knows maybe i will get good at it.
sorry for such a long post.
sorry to those who actually read it.

one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish
last week kason's dad took us fishing up at lake mary {near flagstaff}. we left at 3 in the morning and i slept the whole way there. it turns out i really like fishing. i caught 8 fish! kason caught 1 and dave, well, he did his public service and cleaned up the bottom of the lake. i guess i am just a natural fisherman. actually they gave me the best lure. all i had to do was put it in the water and wait for a bite. i let kason take the hooks out of the fish. that is one job that is definitely for the husband. thanks kason and dave for a great fishing trip!
5 pike + 3 perch + a beautiful day on the lake = a great fishing day!
p.s. if you are counting you will notice there are only 8 pictures of our 9 fish. one got away as kason was getting the hook out of its mouth before we could get a pic.
