goodbye lot 59! hello beautiful institute building!

so i love the new institute building at asu! it is awesome! the building is seriously beautiful! and the sweet parking structure i get to park in for free is basically the greatest thing on the planet. it seriously makes me smile! i am so thankful for that parking stucture! no more lot 59! (though i kind of miss the flash. you meet a bunch of interesting people on the bus! hahahaha!) and i just love institute! this is the only picture i could find of the building and this is before it was finished. think of this but completed with grass and trees and onyx windows in the chapel!

first day of school!

so its the first day of school and of course i am sitting by myself for my lunch break! i have an entire hour to kill. hahaha! its my fault though because i forgot my phone at home which is bad because now i can't talk to anyone all day! its also bad because i have no idea what time it is! hopefully i make it to my classes in time! hahahaha. well the first day isn't so bad minus the no phone thing. i am actually really gald to be back. i am such a nerd! nerd alert! go devils!

bashas shoe department?

story time...

so a couple weeks ago i went to bashas to pick up some oj. on my way back to the jucies something caught my eye. a stand approximately 2 feet wide and four feet high lined with colorful flip flops. a top this display were the words "bahas shoe department". bashas shoe department! since when did bashas have a shoe department?! i found this whole display to be hilarious and imediately decided i need to come back with a camera so i could blog about it. i'm telling you i laughed out loud in the middle of the store and i was by myself! the thought of it still makes me laugh! so i went the other day so i could document this gem and the sign was gone! the shoes are still there but sign labeling bashes shoe department is gone! sad! i wish you guys could have seen it. it was funny! hahahaha!

hair cut!

i finally got a hair cut today! my locks enjoyed a much needed whack and now i look dang sexy! hahaha! it has seriously been forever since i go my hair cut and i finally made it to the salon. thanks to amy my hair has been tamed for the time being!

me as an mm!

so this is cool! i was bored watching tv today because lets face it i don't have a life right now and i saw an mm commercial. it said to go to mm.com to create your own mm character so i did and it was so much fun! its kind of dorky but i really enjoyed it!so here is me as an mm! cool huh?

so you think you can dance!

so i am obsessed with so you think you can dance! i don't know if any of you are fans of the show but i love it! this season my favorite girl dancer is sabra but lauren is good too {reprsenting AZ!} as for the boys neil is my fav but danny has the most amazing turns! what do you think? maybe next year i will be america's favorite dancer! watch out here i come! hahaha just kidding!

motto of the week!

so i have a new motto for the week inspired by graham hatch and his amazing talk on sunday. and the motto is.... motivated by love! don't you like? you know i do!
