my baby!

a couple of days ago my baby {the adorable red honda fit i sport around} had an accident. my day backed into her after my sister had parked her right behind the driveway. {so not my fault} luckily the damage isn't bad however i did cry when i saw it. {kind of lame i know} after that i decided she needed a little spruce so kason helped me change the oil and put air in the tires. i think she is feeling much better and when my baby is happy i am happy!

better late than never!

so i haven't posted in forever and i need to do a serious update! life just got totally crazy! so i think my last post was the beginning of november so i have about two whole months to cover! i can't cover it all but here is a short list. better late than never!

1. on november 12 one of my bestest friends turned 20! happy birthday jessica i love you tons!

2. on november 21 my sister karissa turned 18! happy birthday! she is an awesome sister and is always keeping me laughing! i love you kiss!

3. happy thanksgiving! thanksgiving was kind of weird this year because we didn't go anywhere but it was still great. i am so thankful for so many things! i am so blessed!

4. i survived my finals and finally finished the semester! this semester kicked my trash but i survived! (word to the wise never take 4 history classes plus economics in one semester, you will never finish your reading and die trying!) unfortunately i got my first b this semester :( 2 a's, 1 a-, and 2 b+'s. i guess i will have to kiss my perfect record goodbye. oh well, its not too bad. next semester will be better! (fyi i am really excited for next semester becuase i get to start the education program! yay!) i am so happy for winter break!

5. on dec 15th i performed in the mesa christian dance performace and on the 18th we performed at the temple. the performances went really well. i'm not going to lie, i was a little worried because we weren't as ready as we usually are, but everything turned out. i love being able to share my testimony through dance. it is the most amazing experience! despite all of the headache of getting everything choreographed, taught, and looking good, it is well worth it!

6. on december 22 i turned 20! i find it really weird saying i am 20. time really does just fly by! don't worry though i am still the same weird kid i have always been!

7. i had my last day of physical therapy! (well at least for now.) good news: they got better with the therapy and the taping! :)bad news: my therapist said that i will have to do it for the rest of my life because as soon as i stop they wil just go back and get worse. :) now i have to decide if i want surgery or not. i got back to the doc this week so we will see what he says. who needs a knee anyway? hahaha!

8. merry christmas! i love the chistmas season! everything about it just makes me happy. i love being able to spend time with family and friends. i love my family christmas traditions! my favorite is christmas eve. we always sing the 12 days of christmas song and do these crazy actions and dance moves. it is silly and funny and i love it! another favorite tradition is going over to my aunt and uncle's house after thier party is over and eating their leftovers. it great! my family is crazy and i love it! i hope y'all had a very merry christmas!

9. i went to disneyland this past weekend with kason and his sister + family. it was a great trip and so much fun! despite the huge crowd it was great. our favorite ride was the buzz lightyear astro blaster! we are now space scouts and will forever protect the galexy from the evil emperor zurg! disneyland was seriously awesome!

10. last sunday graham proposed to jessica and they are engaged! becky, afton, ashley, and i were behind the opperation and got it all on tape. he proposed at the airport just past security. it was so cute! they are so cute and so happy and i am so happy for them! congradulations jessica! i love you tons! i am going to miss you when you move to witchita, but i am still so happy for you! congrats! love ya!

sista sista!

my sisters rock my world! my sisters and i can laugh about anything and basically do. i kind of miss those days when we karissa, kelsey, and i shared a room and would stay up all night giggling. anyway, a couple weeks ago they went to homecoming. they looked so cute! whoever gets a chance to date these two are lucky! (and if anyone knows any cute boys that are around 17 and 18 years old let them know i can hook them up with some hotties!) last weekend karissa and kelsey both qualified for the state swim and dive meet. kelsey swims and improved her times despite her hurting shoulders. karissa made each of the cuts and finished 16th. she was the only diver who made it to state that wasn't from mountain view and she just started diving a year ago. they did such a good job and i am so proud of them! i am so blessed to have so many amazing sisters! and so jaycie and savanna don't feel like i love them less here is a picture of them from halloween. cuties!

halloween!!!

this halloween was so much fun! i love halloween and dressin up in awesome costumes! this year i sported the parrot ensemble and you better believe it is a kali original. if you are impressed with that you should be impressed with afton's native american dress. that amazing frock is handmade by yours truly and afton leigh mcaftery. jessica makes a pretty awesome pirate who has a pretty cute parrot. becky as a cowgirl, all i can say is hottie! anyway, here are some awesome pics from an awesome halloween!

finally... SUNS SEASON!!!!

suns season starts today! its finally november 1st and the beginning of a new season for the phoenix suns and i am totally stoked! it's going to be great! yay for suns!

blast from the past...

picture this.... cultural history 313, colonial food, and an awesome fellow dressed like a farmer from the 17th century. pretty sweet huh? well that was my class today and it was awesome. some kids in my class are doing their paper on colonial food and had too bring some in for a presentation. we had mush, suckatash, tasty pudding, chicken, cider, and apple dumpings. not going to lie i am so glad i live in the 21st century and can down some pretty tasty grub. the apple dumpings were good and i am all for apple cider, but the mush... suckastash... tasty pudding.... well not so tasty. anyway. my friend emily and i decided to take some pics so wouldn't forget this blast from the past and our amazing colonial dish. (by the way emily got chased by a pac man. she was scared.) oh and we love hst 313! this class makes us laugh! hahaha heeheehee!
