my sister is engaged!

karissa is now officially engaged to barry brown! barry is one of kason's best friends and we are so happy and excited for them!

woo hoo!

i am now a hip hop and girls PE teacher. at least for the rest of the school year. for those of you who know me you are most likely laughing a bit because picturing me teaching sports is quite funny. i am suppose to start softball tomorrow. i will keep y'all posted on how this adventure goes.

i am just glad i have a job for the next couple months! woo hoo!

i am official

with my name badge and all i am officially a substitute teacher. friday = first day as a sub. being paid to teach = awesome.

we made tortillas

10 dozen tortillas. that is a lot. it took all day. my hands are bruised. we will have home made tortillas for months. totally worth it. yum!
