trip to utah

kason and i went up to utah this weekend to visit some of his fam. it was a short trip, but a lot of fun. we went swimming, played catch phrase, and just relaxed and visited. kason played some b-ball and i had my first experience going antique shopping. it was a great trip! thanks to the Gerrards for letting us come visit and invade your house!

saturday night kason and i saw wicked with my fam. one word: amazing! kason even liked it! he is not a musical man but wicked is so good that even he thought it was great. of course i loved it. i had seen it twice before and it is my favorite musical. kason and i both have the soundtrack on our ipods and can't help but bust out the songs every now and then.

for the 4th of july kason and i headed up to my grandparents cabin with my family for the weekend. it was so nice to get away! the weather was wonderful! the pic pretty much sums up our trip. sitting on the porch swing reading and relaxing. it was great!

i just found out that i passed my aepa exams! woo hoo!

recital 09

last night was the recital for the dance studio i work at. again i was stage manager which means its was one crazy night! after three years of running the show i am becoming a professional and i wasn't as stressed out as i usually am. it went really well and my little girls did great. seriously so cute! i forgot to bring my camera so you will just have to trust me. they were adorable!

ps the foot is 100% better! woo hoo. i am seriously a f.o.n.! {freak of nature} who else gets random, nasty foot infections? just me.

pretty kankle

it might not look better, but at least i feel better. thank you mom, karissa, and kelsey for the pedicure! now i have a pretty kankle, which is way better than an ugly one. and...

kankle part 2

so the kankle continues. my foot got a lot worse so i had to go back to the doctor. i was lucky enough to get a shot in my rear end and some blood work done. all of this because of a little blister! seriously?! only me.
